Yvann Titi Commits to ESTAC Troyes Until 2029

Yvann Titi has chosen loyalty over the lure of France’s heavyweights.

The 20-year-old defender has signed a new contract with ESTAC Troyes, tying himself to the newly promoted Ligue 1 side until 2029, despite concrete interest from major clubs including AS Monaco and Lille OSC, as well as several foreign suitors.

For Troyes, it is a statement. For Titi, it is a bet on himself.

A World Cup runner-up with France’s U-17s three years ago, Titi has grown inside the Troyes system, spending six years with the club and emerging as one of their most exciting academy products. His profile is modern and aggressive: quick across the ground, comfortable in one-on-one duels, and eager to drive play forward.

He has already shown his versatility. Titi has been used both as a centre-back and a right-back in the early stages of his senior career, giving coach Stéphane Dumont a flexible weapon on the right side of his defence. That blend of pace and attacking ambition has not gone unnoticed, at home or abroad.

The new deal comes just after a milestone. Last weekend, Titi made his Ligue 1 debut, starting in ESTAC’s 0-0 draw with Paris FC. It was a first taste of the top flight for a player who helped drag the club there.

In Ligue 2 last season, during Troyes’ promotion campaign, Titi delivered five assists in 20 appearances, impressive numbers for a defender and a clear hint of the attacking threat he brings from deep. Those performances lit up scouting reports and fuelled the interest from bigger names.

Troyes have now moved decisively to protect one of their key assets, securing him for the long term as they try to establish themselves among France’s elite. The message is clear: Titi is not just one for tomorrow. He is central to what comes next.
