Welcome to GoalGist (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the rules for accessing and using goalgist.ng (the “Site”), including all content, features, and services made available through it (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Site, you agree to comply with these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy (together, the “Policies”). If you do not accept these Terms, you should not use the Services.

1) Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are below the age of legal majority in Nigeria, you confirm that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.

2) Editorial Scope; No Professional Advice

GoalGist provides football news, commentary, analysis, and predictions tailored to a Nigerian audience, alongside coverage of international competitions. All content is intended for informational and entertainment purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, betting, or other professional advice. Predictions reflect opinion and analysis and do not guarantee results. Any decisions you make based on our content are your sole responsibility.

3) Intellectual Property and Limited Use

At present, GoalGist does not provide user accounts or commenting functionality. If such features are introduced in the future, their use will be governed by these Terms as updated.

5) User Submissions (Future Features)

If the Services later allow user-generated content (“Submissions”), you will retain ownership of your content but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display it in connection with operating and improving the Services. You must not submit unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content. We reserve the right to moderate or remove submissions at our discretion.

6) Third-Party Links, Ads, and Affiliates

The Site may include links to third-party websites, tools, or services, including advertisers and affiliate partners. We are not responsible for their content or policies. Your interactions with such third parties are governed by their own terms. We may earn compensation through affiliate links or partnerships, but this does not influence our editorial content.

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed ₦100,000 or the amount you paid us (if any) within the three months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
