Edo Queens Aiming for Perfect Group Finish in WAFU B Women’s Champions League

Edo Queens boss Kennedy Boboye insists there will be no let‑up in their final group game at the WAFU B Women’s Champions League, despite his side already booking a semi-final spot.

The Nigerian champions have taken maximum points from their first two matches, cruising into the last four with a game to spare. Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa Ladies now stand between them and a perfect group campaign, and Boboye wants his players fully switched on.

He made it clear there will be no wholesale rotation or dead-rubber mentality.

“We don’t have any player to rest; it’s only one of our defenders who was ruled out of the tournament due to a head injury,” Boboye said ahead of the matchday three clash.

That single enforced absence aside, he underlined the readiness of his squad to keep pushing.

“All the players in the squad will come out and play when needed, and they will surely give their all to the team.”
