UND Women’s Soccer Hosts Florida Atlantic for First-Ever Match

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – North Dakota is back on familiar turf and stepping into new territory.

After a bruising two-game swing through California that yielded a 0-1-1 record, the Fighting Hawks women’s soccer team returns to Bronson Field on Sunday for a first-ever meeting with Florida Atlantic. Kickoff for the noon matinee is set for 12 p.m. CT, with the Owls flying in to open a brand-new series between the programs.

It’s a small slice of history in Grand Forks. North Dakota has never faced Florida Atlantic, and this inaugural chapter arrives at a key point in the calendar: UND’s only match of the week and the second-to-last fixture on the 2026 non-conference slate. One game. One opponent. A clean, sharp focus before league play looms.

Bronson Field will again serve as the stage, but the reach stretches far beyond the touchlines.
