St Patrick's Athletic vs Bohemians: FAI Cup Quarter-Final Clash

St Patrick's Athletic have another Dublin derby to navigate in the Club Orange FAI Cup – and it’s a blockbuster.

Fresh from dumping out holders Shamrock Rovers last Sunday, the Saints have been drawn at home to Bohemians in the quarter-finals, a straight rerun of the 2023 final. Same clubs, same competition, but this time the stakes are packed into a single night at Richmond Park rather than a showpiece at the end of the road.

The Gypsies head south across the city knowing the memories of last year’s decider will hang over the tie. St Pat’s, buoyed by their scalp of Rovers, now face another fierce rival with a place in the last four on the line. It’s the standout tie of the round, and it feels like it.

Elsewhere, Derry City and Dundalk will collide at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium in a fixture heavy with its own history. Two clubs with deep Cup traditions, one of them guaranteed to fall before the semi-finals.
