Mikey Moore's Potential Move to Köln as Spurs Clear Transfer Logjam

Mikey Moore’s next step looks set to run through the Bundesliga.

According to Bild, 1. FC Köln are close to securing the 19‑year‑old on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, with a basic agreement with the player in place for some time. The final piece was always the coach’s blessing – and Roberto De Zerbi has now given it.

That green light had been missing until this week. De Zerbi had been counting on Moore in the early weeks of the season, and his team selection underlined it. The teenager started Tottenham’s Premier League opener, a bruising 3‑0 home defeat to Brentford, as Spurs stumbled out of the blocks in north London.

The picture at Spurs is changing fast, though. The squad that looked thin on Saturday is about to be flooded with attacking talent.

English outlets report in unison that Tottenham have reached an agreement with Manchester City for Savinho and Omar Marmoush. The double deal is said to total around €185 million in transfer fees. Moore is viewed as a candidate to slot straight into that vacancy on the flank, offering the mirror image to Said El Mala on the opposite side.
