Liverpool have opened the door to another bold German gamble.

According to Ekrem Konur, the club have already made informal contact over Bayern Munich prodigy Lennart Karl, a teenager many in Germany are calling the standout talent of his generation. The move comes as Liverpool wrestle with how to unlock the player who was supposed to be their German crown jewel: Florian Wirtz.

From Klopp’s German dream to Wirtz’s slow burn
