Juventus Pursues Kolo Muani and Sorloth for Attack Overhaul

Juventus are tearing up their forward line and starting again. At the heart of the rebuild sits a familiar face: Randal Kolo Muani, who is increasingly open to pulling on the black and white shirt once more this summer.

Multiple sources in Italy report that the Frenchman is ready to return to Turin, and Juventus are working to turn that willingness into a deal with PSG. At the same time, the club are pressing ahead with a move for Alexander Sorloth, aiming to reshape their attack in one sweeping market move.

Attack Torn Down, Attack Rebuilt

The need is obvious. Dusan Vlahovic will walk away as a free agent when his contract expires on June 30, leaving a gaping hole at centre-forward. Lois Openda and Jonathan David were supposed to be part of the solution; instead, their first season in Turin fell flat, failing to convince the club they can lead the next cycle.

Juventus are now ready to listen to offers for both, a clear signal that no one in the current attacking department is safe. The Old Lady wants a different profile, a different edge, and they are looking abroad to find it.

Sorloth Deal in Place, Kolo Muani Talks Ongoing

Work on that front is already advanced with Atletico Madrid. Juventus have opened negotiations for Sorloth and, crucially, have reached an agreement with the Norway international over personal terms. The striker is on board. Now it is down to the clubs.

The story does not end there. According to Romeo Agresti of Sky Sport and Tuttosport, Juventus are also in continuous contact with PSG over Kolo Muani. The intention is clear: bring in both, not one or the other.

PSG have set their price at around €35m. Juventus do not want to go beyond €30m. That gap defines the talks for now, but there is room for creativity.

The French champions could accept a loan with an obligation to buy, tied to conditions that are almost certain to be met. With Kolo Muani’s contract running until June 2028, PSG have the security to structure a deal over time rather than push for immediate full payment.

No Place in Paris, Space in Turin

One thing is not in doubt: Kolo Muani does not figure in Luis Enrique’s plans. PSG are not preparing a new deal for the former Tottenham loanee and are open to moving him on.

That suits Juventus. In the second half of the 2024-25 season, Kolo Muani showed exactly why they want him back, scoring ten goals in 22 appearances in the black and white. He adapted quickly, attacked space, and gave their front line a directness it had been missing.

He also left a mark on the Allianz Stadium crowd. Now, reports suggest he is eager to return, even without the lure of Champions League football in 2026-27. That willingness matters. It gives Juventus leverage and adds urgency to PSG’s decision.

The equation is simple: a forward unwanted in Paris, wanted in Turin, and already proven in the shirt. The only question left is whether Juventus and PSG can bridge that final €5m and lock in the striker they hope will spearhead a very different-looking attack.
