Valeriou clinic, part of the Athens Medical Centre, was described as successful and “carried out smoothly,” as confirmed by Sport 24 via an official Olympiacos statement.

Greek newspaper Protothema reported that El Kaabi is expected to be out of competitive action for between six and seven months. That projection would rule him out for the bulk of Olympiacos’s campaign and potentially push his full return deep into next year.

Protothema stressed that the exact length of his absence will hinge on how his body responds to treatment and rehabilitation. Bones can heal on schedule; muscles and confidence sometimes take longer.

Rehab starts immediately

Olympiacos are not wasting a day. According to Sport 24, the club confirmed that El Kaabi’s rehabilitation program begins immediately, with a clear objective: a gradual, safe and complete return to competitive football.
