The 21-year-old German has become one of the most intriguing young forwards in Europe in the space of a single season. Twelve months ago he was a promising attacker at Hannover 96 in Germany’s second tier, with 14 goals in 80 games and a reputation more for potential than end product. Then came Brugge.
