Syracuse Falls to Boston College Despite Shot Advantage

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Syracuse threw everything at Boston College. The scoreboard never budged in their favor.

Despite a 19–8 shot advantage, the Orange walked off the Newton Campus Lacrosse and Soccer Field on Friday night with a 2–0 defeat, still searching for their first conference win of the season and, on this night, for any kind of finishing touch.

With the match still goalless in the 53rd minute, Michael Asare broke it open, punishing Syracuse with a clinical finish that cut through the pattern of Orange possession and half-chances.
