Ruben Amorim Surprises with Midfield Change for Milan vs Lazio

Ruben Amorim has sprung a late surprise for Milan’s Serie A clash with Lazio, reshaping his midfield and leaving Yunus Musah on the bench, according to Sky Sport Italia.

Musah dropped, Rabiot in the engine room

Musah, widely tipped to line up alongside Luka Modric in a two-man midfield, has been relegated to a substitute role. Instead, Adrien Rabiot will anchor the centre of the pitch, tasked with knitting play and giving Milan balance in a key away fixture.

The change shifts the structure of Milan’s attack as well. Rather than operating deeper, Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been pushed higher up the pitch and will start as the attacking midfielder.
