Manchester United Sign Sweden Winger Monica Jusu Bah

Manchester United have struck a deal to sign Sweden international Monica Jusu Bah from BK Hacken, landing one of the most highly rated wide forwards in the Damallsvenskan.

The 23-year-old winger is expected to complete her move before next Thursday’s Women’s Super League transfer deadline, with only the final formalities left before she joins Marc Skinner’s squad.

Jusu Bah only signed an extension with BK Hacken in September 2025, tying her to the Swedish club until 2028, so United will pay a transfer fee, though the exact figure remains undisclosed.

A product of Swedish football, she came through at Umea and made her name there before earning a move to BK Hacken in 2023. Her rise has been sharp. So has her impact.

In May, she played a key role as BK Hacken lifted the inaugural Women’s Europa Cup, underlining her pedigree on the European stage and catching the eye of clubs across the continent.

Her form at club level has carried into the national team. Jusu Bah has already earned 11 caps for Sweden and featured in all six of their Women’s World Cup qualifying matches this year, cementing herself as a regular option in a competitive squad.

United are not finished yet. The club are understood to be pushing to bring in at least one more signing before the window closes next week as they reshape the squad for the new campaign.

The move for Jusu Bah follows the arrivals of defender Andrea Medina from Atletico Madrid and goalkeeper Janina Leitzig from Leicester City, underlining United’s intent to refresh the spine of the team and add pace and power out wide ahead of a pivotal season.
