Liverpool's Pursuit of PSG's Bradley Barcola Intensifies

Liverpool’s chase for Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola is turning into one of the window’s late‑hour sagas, with negotiations expected to run right up to the deadline, according to The Athletic.

The 23-year-old France international has been identified as Liverpool’s priority addition in the wide attacking areas, a statement move to sharpen their threat from the flanks before the summer window shuts. The former Lyon talent, now at PSG, is seen at Anfield as the kind of long-term piece you build a front line around, not just a luxury extra.

There is, however, a huge problem: the price.

PSG have set the bar sky-high, demanding around €170m for Barcola. That figure has created a sizeable gap between the Ligue 1 champions and the Premier League side, who have so far refused to go that far despite their strong interest.
