Inter’s Pursuit of Curtis Jones and the Role of Davide Frattesi

Inter’s pursuit of Curtis Jones is edging forward – and Davide Frattesi could be the key that unlocks it.

Italian clubs have started to circle. Fabrizio Romano reports that Lazio have approached Inter for Frattesi, sounding out a move for the midfielder just a year after his arrival at San Siro. Any serious development there would open up a significant gap in Simone Inzaghi’s midfield rotation.

That gap already has a name on it.

Gianluigi Longari of TV Dello Sport reports that Curtis Jones remains Inter’s top target for the centre of the park, with the club ready to push again once outgoing deals are in place. The message from inside the Nerazzurri camp is clear: offload Frattesi and others, then go back to Liverpool with a stronger proposal.

The stance on Jones has not shifted. Inter want him. Jones, for his part, has already given the green light and is keen on the move to Milan.

Now it comes down to whether Inter can turn those moving pieces – Frattesi, potential other departures, and Liverpool’s valuation – into the kind of offer that finally makes the Reds blink.
