Juventus–Milan: a rivalry locked in stalemate

On paper, Juventus versus Milan is the standout fixture of any round. On the pitch recently, it has turned into a tactical arm wrestle with no winner.

Four of the last five Serie A meetings between the two have ended 0-0, including the most recent two. Never before has this rivalry produced three consecutive goalless draws. They have not gone on a longer run of stalemates since a four-game sequence between 1973 and 1974.

Lazio’s flawless start under threat from a familiar foe

Two games, two wins, both by two-goal margins, both with clean sheets. Lazio have never opened a Serie A season like this. Not once.
