Michael Olise Faces Allegations of Abandoning Daughter After DNA Test

Michael Olise’s summer break has been hit by serious off-field allegations, with a German woman claiming the Bayern Munich and France star has abandoned their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter despite a DNA test confirming he is the father.

The woman, 34-year-old Fatima Zaunbrecher, has gone public on Instagram, alleging that Olise formally acknowledged paternity of little Aaliyah Noor Olise but has never met the child, never called, and has not voluntarily paid towards her upbringing.

“I’m Raising Our Child Alone”

Zaunbrecher says she and Olise were in a relationship from 2022, lasting around two years. According to her account, the relationship ended shortly before she discovered she was pregnant. A subsequent DNA test, she claims, confirmed Olise as the father.

From there, the story takes a stark turn.

Speaking in a series of videos on her Instagram account, @fati.zahara, Zaunbrecher accuses the Bayern winger of turning his back on their daughter.

She says Olise has officially acknowledged he is Aaliyah’s father, yet has never made personal contact with the child and has not, of his own accord, contributed financially.

“I’m raising our child alone while her father is partying and inviting women and doing the most and is not paying any dime for his own daughter,” she said in one of the clips, painting a picture of a single mother juggling work and childcare while watching the father’s career and profile soar.

Zaunbrecher claims she now works two jobs to keep them afloat.

Disputed Child Support Proposal

At the heart of the dispute lies a failed attempt to secure an interim child support payment.

Zaunbrecher says her former lawyer approached Olise’s legal team with a proposal for €2,000 in child support as an initial payment while the case awaited a full court decision. She insists she made it as straightforward as possible for payments to begin.

“I pretty much said you can do it through my former lawyer, who wrote to his lawyer that he can start paying, and I also sent it to my bank account, and he didn't send anything,” she said.

“I gave him a chance, but my child's father is savage; he didn't take it, and he completely ignored it. His lawyers are very terrible persons.”

According to her, no money has arrived, no interim support has been agreed, and no direct contact has been made with Aaliyah.

“Since that day, he hasn't paid anything, and he didn't call his daughter. But he said in the statement that he wanted to contact his daughter and me. That doesn't make any sense,” she added, insisting her focus is on securing stability for the child, not on policing Olise’s private life.

Zaunbrecher stresses that her concern is support for their daughter rather than how Olise chooses to spend his time away from football.

Star on the Pitch, Storm Off It

The allegations emerge at a moment when Olise’s profile has never been higher.

Fresh from helping France to a fourth-place finish at the 2026 World Cup, the Bayern winger left the tournament with a tournament-best seven assists, underlining his status as one of Europe’s most creative attacking talents.

His performances in Qatar propelled him further into the spotlight. One moment in particular drew attention: against Morocco, Olise was unable to join in France’s celebrations after a goal because of a little-known FIFA rule that would have allowed Morocco to restart quickly if the French players vacated their positions. It was a snapshot of a player switched on to the smallest details on the pitch.

Off the pitch, the images are very different. Recent social media clips show Olise enjoying his holiday in Turks and Caicos, a sun-soaked contrast to the claims of a mother working double shifts in Germany.

For now, Zaunbrecher’s accusations live on her Instagram feed and in legal correspondence she says has gone unanswered in the way she hoped. Olise and his camp have yet to publicly set out their side of the story in detail.

As Bayern prepare for another season built around one of Europe’s most gifted wide players, the question now is whether events far from the Allianz Arena will begin to cast a longer shadow over a career that, on the pitch at least, has seemed destined only to rise.
