Leeds United vs Nottingham Forest: Farke's Bold 3-4-3 Tactics

Leeds United head to the City Ground on Saturday with a clear objective: turn pre-season promise into Premier League points.

Daniel Farke’s side dismantled Augsburg 4-0 in their final warm-up game, a result that doesn’t guarantee anything in England’s top flight but does at least send them into this clash with a bit of swagger. Now comes the real test against Nottingham Forest, and Farke is expected to go strong.

Farke sticks with bold 3-4-3

The German is set to line his team up in a 3-4-3, backing an adventurous shape away from home rather than retreating into caution.

James Trafford is in line to start in goal, tasked with handling the noise, the pressure and a Forest attack that will look to unsettle him early. In front of him, a back three of Joe Rodon, Jaka Bijol and Tarik Muharemović will shoulder the responsibility of keeping Leeds’ structure intact.
