Bradley Barcola Joins Liverpool: Aiming for Premier League Glory
Bradley Barcola has signed for Liverpool, and he is not hiding what he wants.
A Premier League title. Fast.
The French forward completed a long-term move to Anfield after passing his medical and finalising the deal at the AXA Training Centre, and will wear the No.29 shirt for the Reds.
"It's a great pride to be able to play for Liverpool. I'm very happy," Barcola told Liverpoolfc.com.
"It took a long time but I'm really happy today to be able to play for Liverpool and all I want is to be on the pitch and be able to play.
"I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League – it's one of my biggest dreams in my life.
"It is to do that and to stay in this team in the long term – that's why I signed a long contract – and I hope I can do it."
Liverpool are getting a forward with range and edge. Barcola can operate anywhere across the front line and arrives from a three-year spell at PSG, where he grew from prospect to serial winner.
In Paris he made 152 appearances, scored 39 goals and provided 35 assists, numbers that underlined his influence in a star-studded attack. The trophies followed: back-to-back Champions League titles and three consecutive Ligue 1 crowns at Parc des Princes.
His path to the elite started at Olympique Lyonnais. Barcola made his senior debut for Lyon in November 2021 and quickly pushed his way into the first-team picture, producing seven goals and 11 assists in 47 outings before PSG moved for him in August 2023.
France soon followed. Since making his international debut in June 2024, the winger has already collected 28 caps and scored six times for his country.
On the biggest stage of all, he delivered. Barcola struck three goals at this summer's World Cup, featuring in every game as France battled their way to a fourth-placed finish.
Now the stage changes again. Same ambition, different shade of red.
